How pre-order and deferred payment work.

 

What is pre-order?

Some of our products are available for pre-order. This means that the given model is not yet available for immediate purchase, and its production is based on the number of orders placed by customers.
CloudWear is a Polish brand that designs and sews its products locally in Poland. Each dress is created in our workshop and goes through several production stages – from material preparation, through cutting, sewing, to finishing and quality control.
For this reason, some models are first introduced for pre-order. This allows us to match production volume to actual interest, avoiding overproduction and unnecessary material waste. This approach aligns with the idea of slow fashion – we produce exactly as many products as are genuinely needed. Therefore, products from this collection may have a longer lead time, which is always specified for each particular product.

 

How does deferred payment work?

For pre-order products, we use deferred payment.
This means that at the time of placing the order, we do not immediately charge money from your account. When placing an order, you only provide your payment card details to reserve the product.
Funds will be charged only a few days before the order is shipped, when its fulfillment begins.
Thanks to this, your money is not blocked throughout the waiting period for production.

 

Important payment information.

Pre-order payment is one-time.
It is not a subscription or recurring payment.
After the funds are charged before the order is shipped, no further charges will be made to your card.
You don't need to cancel anything or perform any additional actions – payment occurs only once, upon order fulfillment.

 

What happens if there are insufficient funds in the account?

If there are insufficient funds in the account at the time of attempted payment, you will receive an email notification about the failed payment. 
In such a situation, you will have 3 business days to top up your account and allow for a retry of the payment.
If payment is still not possible after this time, the order will be automatically canceled, and no funds will be charged from your account.

 

Why do we use pre-orders?

Pre-orders allow us to operate in a more responsible and conscious manner.
We produce exactly as many dresses as have been ordered, thereby reducing overproduction and unnecessary material consumption. 
At the same time, we can maintain local production in Poland, high quality craftsmanship, and attention to every detail. 
This process requires a bit more time than mass production, but as a result, you receive a product created with greater care for quality and the environment.

 

Can returns be made?

Yes – pre-orders are subject to standard return policies.
After receiving the product, you have 14 days to return it, counting from the day the package was delivered.
The return procedure is exactly the same as for products available immediately – you can return the product without giving a reason, in accordance with applicable law.
